In Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 für Windows Server EE wurden die Management-Funktionen deutlich erweitert. Neben einer verbesserten Funktionalität zur Individualisierung der Administratorenrechte erleichtert die lokale oder entfernte Steuerung und Administration über die Microsoft Management Console (MMC) die Verwaltung und das Monitoring einer größeren Anzahl geschützter Arbeitsplätze. Zudem ermöglicht die Lösung nun die Arbeit in Clustern, die Einrichtung individueller Richtlinien für verschiedene Schutzbereiche sowie die Erstellung von Einstellungs-Vorlagen zur Vereinfachung der Administration.
Beim Schutz von Terminalservern wurde die Nutzung der System-Ressourcen optimiert und die Anzahl der zu schützenden Clients erhöht. Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 für Windows Server Enterprise Edition sichert nun zudem auch Systeme, die mit Microsoft Terminal, Citrix Metaframe XPe FR 3, Citrix Presentation Server 3.0, Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 und Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 betrieben werden.
Die Arbeit der Administratoren wird zukünftig durch die neu implementierte Unterstützung des Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) erleichtert. Mit seiner Hilfe können die Netzwerk-Administratoren die Funktion des Antiviren-Programms und den Status des Antiviren-Schutzes verfolgen.
Kaspersky Anti-Virus für Windows Server Enterprise Edition ist Bestandteil der Unternehmensproduktlinie Kaspersky Open Space Security. Die Lösung ist in die Kaspersky BusinessSpace Security, die Kaspersky EnterpriseSpace Security sowie die Kaspersky TotalSpace Security integriert und wird in Kürze verfügbar sein.
