RIO – das modulare Remote-I/O-System von LTI Motion schafft Platz und erfüllt die Anforderungen des Maschinenbauers in allen Phasen des Maschinenlebenszyklus. Dezentrale Erweiterungsmodule zum Anschluss von Sensoren und Aktoren gibt es viele. Aber nur wenige bieten eine schmale Modulbauweise von 11,5 mm. Zusätzlich wird die Verkleinerung des Schaltschranks durch die hohe Stromtragfähigkeit und damit geringe Anzahl benötigter Einspeisemodule unterstützt. Schon bei der Planung sorgt das modulare System für effiziente Lösungen und geringen Aufwand. Das innovative mechanische Konzept bietet durch den schichtartigen Aufbau der Module enorme Vorteile bei der Installation und dem Service. Dabei sorgen die immer gleichen Basismodule für eine werkzeuglose Montage und den einfachen Austausch. Status-LEDs direkt am Kanal sowie an jedem RIO-Modul ermöglichen zuverlässige Diagnosen und einen schnellen Service. Vervollständigt wird die simple Handhabung durch die steckbaren Elektronik-Funktionsmodule sowie die abklappbare Klemmenebene mit konfektionierbaren Gegensteckern. Eine Erweiterung um IP67-Module steht im System ebenfalls zur Verfügung und vervielfacht damit die Einsatzmöglichkeiten. Sicherheitstechnik ist in modernen Automatisierungslösungen nicht mehr wegzudenken. Zur Reduzierung von Risiken sind Systemlösungen notwendig, die die hohen Anforderungen von Gesetzen und Normen erfüllen. Die im RIO-System beinhalteten Sicherheitsmodule entsprechen den Anforderungen nach SIL3 gemäß IEC 62061 und EN ISO 13849-1, Kategorie 4, PL e und werden über EtherCAT FSoE durch die zentrale Sicherheitssteuerung verwaltet. Module mit bis zu acht sicheren Eingängen und Mix-Module erlauben einen effizienten und kompakten Aufbau. RIO von LTI Motion – ein innovatives und kompaktes Remote-I/O-System.
