The concept for the EKATO GROUP at the Achema was focussed on the ideal interconnection of product staging and user experience. This was completely in line with a sustainable – and therefore successful – trade fair presentation.
Once again, the centrepiece of the trade fair stand was an approximately five-metre high concave-arched projection that gave the visitors the impression of standing within the cross-section of a stirring tank, which enabled them to monitor the interior processes. An oversized model of a smartphone flanked this visitor highlight. By using the smartphone’s touchscreen, guests were able to gain additional insight into the trade fair stand, the innovations, the team, and even EKATO’s presentation schedule.
If the trade fair visitors had wanted to immerse themselves in the product world, they would have had the perfect opportunity to do so using virtual reality. The supporting rail also provided real assistance to visitors who embarked on the exciting and very realistic virtual tour of the plant.
The multimedia product staging was authentically integrated in a high-end brand world. With 85 years of expertise in the segment of stirring and mixing technology, EKATO again reaffirmed its market position as a technological leader in helping companies meet the challenges in the process industry.
A good month after the ACHEMA 2018 ended, EKATO was able to declare the trade fair a rousing success. The feedback received from the trade fair visitors and colleagues was overwhelmingly positive and included things like – “This is the most beautiful stand at the entire trade fair.”
Despite a general drop in trade fair visitors, at the EKATO stand the employees experienced a significant increase of approximately 20%. Many new and interesting projects have developed as result of the meetings and discussions, and the first orders were received.
