(PresseBox) (Berlin, )
KeepTool, a leading provider of database management solutions, is pleased to announce the release of KeepTool 16.1. This latest version brings a host of new features and improvements aimed at empowering users with more efficient data management and enhanced database development capabilities (see also current release notes).
  • On the SQL Scratchpad, you can now keep now open more than one SQL resultset windows at the same time. Hora will use the focused data grid to display the result of the next SQL execution.
  • Hora supports you now in automatically converting traditional DBMS jobs to Oracle scheduler jobs. All DBMS job attributes are converted to the scheduler job logic.
  • Are you working with PostgreSQL databases together with your Oracle database? You can now create PostgreSQL syntax from your Oracle table(s). INSERT scripts work on both databases, as far as you select appropriate options such as using timestamp literals.
  • On Hora’s tablespace page, you will find a new tab that displays SYSAUX occupants including move procedures provide by Oracle.
  • The master/detail view on the table’s page now displays a list of table columns including data types for the mouse-over table. Navigation between tables now works by single-click on a table shape.
  • The blocking sessions view (log wait graph) now shows a tree view having multiple columns. That shows you much more information about blocking and blocked sessions.
  • For Oracle 23c databases, KeepTool now supports the new BOOLEAN data type. Now you can substitute your Y/N and 0/1 columns by a real Boolean true/false logic.
"With version 16.1, KeepTool once again emphasizes its ability to quickly and reliably integrate real-world requirements into its tools," says Rolf Grünewald, CEO and founder of KeepTool.

KeepTool 16.1 is now available for download. Users having an active update subscription can upgrade right now to the latest version to leverage these new features and improvements.
