The company’s goal was to activate a direct management of the online channel, which previously was outsourced. Benetton plans as well this year as part of its omnichannel evolution to deliver better integration between physical stores and the online shop. By doing that, Benetton can assist the end-consumer wherever he is during his shopping experience through both physical and digital channels.
For the creation of its new online shop, Benetton has chosen to rely on the K-OMS technology, an Order Management System by Keros Digital.
Keros Digital technology allowed Benetton to integrate a complexed online customer journey with its IT architecture, reducing the complexity of several aspects related to order management and invoicing in different countries. Keros Digital has made available its tax and legal knowledge for Benetton and it has provided advice on how to optimize all processes to drive more efficiency in delivery times and lower shipping costs.
The new Benetton OMS handles easily the catalog, VAT invoicing in different counties, the warehouse, optimizes the assignment of orders and manages returns from different parts all over the world thanks to a unique integrated e-commerce software solution.
