CustomsXchange: pioneer for customs requirements
Kewill's CustomsXchange is an innovative customs software solution specifically designed to meet the requirements of global logistics providers. With its options for continuous compliance with national and international customs legislation, Kewill CustomsXchange supports and simplify the submission of multi-country Customs declarations, electronically. As the first supplier in the market, Kewill has successfully managed to simplify customs handling procedures by eliminating manual data entries. Instead of using different local solutions, CustomsXchange allows users to coordinate compliance with multiple international legal requirements quickly, and in a secure way, using one unique connection.
As CustomsXchange allows users to enter data using the same format, organizations achieve significant time savings. Information is first selected from the appropriate IT system according to each country's specific customs requirements, and is then exchanged and modified through connections with local customs authorities. This makes the customs software solution a pioneer, ideally suited for medium-sized enterprises doing business transporting goods between multiple countries.
Kewill chosen from more than 2,500 competitors
"Increasing numbers of participants in the competition and excellent feedback on this year's official CeBIT awards ceremony prove the vital importance of the INNOVATION-IT award. This is why we are particularly proud that our software solution was awarded the "Best of 2012" certificate. Our product development aims at providing significant added value for our customers, thus helping them to get one step ahead of their competitors. The award for Kewill Customs Exchange is another endorsement of our experience providing customer oriented solutions", says Andreas Heil, Kewill Managing Director DACH.
More than 2,500 medium-sized organizations entered the best IT innovation award in 2012. Winners and nominees of all 40 categories as well as top-performers from 16 federal states were selected by a jury of 100 business, science and media experts. Besides innovative and practical aspects the jury evaluated whether IT solutions were suited to stimulate competitiveness of medium-sized enterprises.
