As part of its reselling partnership, NTT DATA Business Solutions AG (formerly itelligence AG) has added the solutions of KGS Software GmbH to its portfolio. The product and service offering of NTT DATA Business Solutions now ranges from high-performance SAP archives and a holistic information lifecycle management solution (ILM) all the way to fully automated SAP archive migration.
Jochen Heybrock, Head of Partner Sales, KGS Software GmbH: “We consider the partnership with NTT DATA Business Solutions an important milestone. It helps us drive forward our international expansion and will strengthen our presence outside the DACH region. Our common goal is to help companies archive their data and documents easily and securely using innovative products.” The know-how of kgs and the global network of NTT DATA Business Solutions complement each other in many ways. And the cooperation will make it even easier for interested parties to access tia®, the intelligent archiving solution from kgs.
Georg Schmidt, Partner Alliance Management Germany, NTT DATA Business Solutions AG: “By adding tia® from kgs to our portfolio, we are significantly expanding our archiving offering for customers in the SAP context and beyond.”
The tia® solution covers the entire range of archiving scenarios from application to storage, regardless of whether the IT landscape is operated completely on-premises, in the cloud or whether hybrid systems are in use.
In the interplay with SAP, tia® acts like a middleware between the ERS system and the hierarchical storage management (HSM) system. This ensures legally compliant document archiving, data archiving and archiving of print lists via standard SAP interfaces.
“We are delighted that NTT DATA Business Solutions, the No. 1 provider of SAP-related services, has added our solutions to their product range,” says Jochen Heybrock. “Our solutions are not limited to SAP, but encompass a wide array of applications. The streamlined architecture makes implementation easy, even more so because our solutions can be deployed across multiple operating models – all the way from on-premises to the cloud.”
