As a long-standing SAP partner, KGS Software GmbH has helped in the development of the process for SAP CMIS certification as part of a pilot project and is now the first receipient of this coveted certificate. This makes the Neu-Isenburg software company the first solution provider whose interface carries SAP's official CMIS certificate.
Within the framework of a close cooperation, the specialists from kgs and SAP developed the process required to thoroughly evaluate an interface in terms of its CMIS capability in the past weeks. The joint task included the design and review of the entire process, from start to end. The first step was the functional review of the products and the CMIS interface. The second step was the end-to-end process including S/4HANA configuration and the setting up of an archive in the cloud.

Now other companies also have the opportunity to have interfaces tested for CMIS suitability here via the SAP Integration Certification Center (ICC) and to receive the corresponding certification from SAP."
At SAP, it is assumed that the new CMIS certification will now be requested by many companies, also because these companies - like kgs is now - will then be listed in the SAP Certified Solutions Directory.
