The Swiss-based executive search company Kohlberg & Partner was founded by Jurg and Christa Kohlberg in 2003. The two partners have decided to find a successor for their company well in advance of their actual retirement. They have found with Martin Schneider, owner and CEO of the globally operating Interim Management agency Brainforce AG a new owner and chairman of the board of directors. The two companies will continue to operate independently. On one side due to their brands that are established and well-known on the market, and on the other side due to the two different business models. This ensures business continuity and at the same time creates added value for demanding clients.
Martin Schneider is convinced of the benefits of complementary human resources services. “Every company needs the best suited, precisely fitting executives and consulting solutions, tailor-made for different company situations. Be it for a permanent position. Be it to manage a time-limited demanding project. Be it at very short notice to deal with urgent management situations as part of an interim management assignment. Or be it for professional advisory from seniors with many years of management experience and special know-how”, Schneider explains the expansion of his group of companies.
As a committed board member at Kohlberg & Partner, Christa Kohlberg will accompany the further development of the company. She will continue to actively support the real estate and construction management area. Jurg Kohlberg will transfer his previous managing director role to Hermann Eugster, but will continue to be available as a senior advisor. Hermann Eugster has been a senior consultant in the company for 16 years. He successfully built up the technology and industry division and will continue to head it.
