Am Sonntag, den 25.11.18 war der Chef-Trainer der Newyorker Lions, Eric Yuma zu Besuch bei den Eisschwimmern in Volkmarode. Erst skeptisch doch dann mutig genug stieg er mit unserem Coach Thomas Zeitler zusammen in das Wasser des Moorhüttensees. Genau 5,6 ° Celsius zeigte das Thermometer. Tapfer schwamm er 10 Minuten unter permanenter persönlichen Betreuung und erreichte damit das Seepferdchen für Eisschwimmer.
