Der Rat der Gemeinde Westoverledingen hat am 21. Juli 2021 seine neue Feuerwehrgebührensatzung beschlossen. Zuvor hatte die Kommunal- und Unternehmensberatung Dipl.-Kaufmann Robert Roller mit Sitz in Berlin und Braunschweig auf Basis der aktuellen Rechtslage in Niedersachsen neu kalkuliert. Im Vorfeld fanden zahlreiche Gespräche und der Austausch von Haushaltsdaten, Anlagevermögen und Einsatzstunden. Neben der Gemeinde Westoverledingen haben auch die Stadt Königslutter/Elm, die Samtgemeinde Schwarmstedt sowie zahlreiche anderen Städte und Gemeinden die Kalkulation Ihrer Gebühren dem Beratungsbüro übertragen.
