The scalable and modular radar test system supports multi-angle and multi-object sensor test in the laboratory.
Ram Mirwani, Director Global Business Development ADAS of Konrad Technologies, said:
“We designed this radar test solution to efficiently and effectively validate functionality and increase the quality of test for radar sensors and ADAS/AD modules through multi-angle and multi-object simulation in a controlled lab environment for the full sensor field of view (FOV) in the azimuth and elevations directions.”
Konrad Technologies is the provider of value added, platform based automated test solutions used to solve the world´s most complex engineering challenges.
Full Field of View Vehicle Radar Test System
The KT-MVRTS is for 76 to 81 GHz automotive radar sensor Design Verification and Validation (V&V) test engineers, ADAS/AD sub-system and system level test engineers and ADAS/AD software test engineers working with Hardware in the Loop (HIL) test processes. Based on National Instruments Vehicle Radar Test System (VRTS) platform, object simulation and RF measurements can be performed with a single KT-MVRTS radar test system for functional and performance evaluations.
Sensor Fusion Hardware in the Loop Test
Automotive manufacturers benefit from the single platform for measurement and scenario-based test methods, which also has connectivity to multiple commonly used third-party drive simulation scene generators and HIL platforms to enable Sensor Fusion HIL test. This capability enables system level ADAS/AD functional evaluations in a lab environment before a test drive.
