“By taking over the employees of Kiel Engineering GmbH, we will be able to complement our service portfolio by adding the area of electrical, instrumentation and control technology (EI&C), as well as open up new customer fields by expanding regionally to western Germany,” explains Florian Stöger, Managing Director of ECM.
The business operations of Kiel Engineering GmbH could be maintained in full during the insolvency proceedings. In addition to retaining existing customers, new customers were even acquired. At the same time, new employees could also be recruited for the company.
There are currently 67 employees in Oberhausen and Cologne who, without exception, have remained loyal to the company despite the insolvency application and will all be taken on by ECM.
