The SWISS KRONO product highlights at interzum 2019:
ONE WORLD collection: new decors and surfaces
The furniture board collection will be offering 31 new plain, wood and design decors. They are based on the current interior trends Japanordic, Warm Vintage, True Bohemian and Urban Minimal, making them highly attractive to architects, interior designers, manufacturers and dealers. In addition to the new looks, the focus is on the newly developed Structure One Vision.
ONE WORLD AR Interior Designer app: virtual interior design
This newly developed augmented reality app lets the user find the right surfaces for individual interior design. All the decors in the ONE WORLD collection are included in the intuitive app and can be projected onto any surface via camera. This allows users to combine and try out the decors with any individual interior in real time. All decors were scanned from five perspectives for the app to realistically render surface structures, which are often highly detailed. In the same scanning process, all attributes of the decors were also defined for BIM use.
BE.YOND: the bio-based healthy chipboard
The new BE.YOND chipboard is the most environmentally friendly board of its kind on the market. It is manufactured with next-generation bio-based adhesives that meet the highest indoor air quality requirements. BE.YOND chipboards have emission levels equivalent to those found in trees. We spend most of our lives in buildings, breathing indoor air and coming into contact with building materials. SWISS KRONO Group contributes to sustainable building and healthy living with its environmentally friendly wood-based materials.
HPL: new decors in a range of widths
Introducing: SWISS KRONO Group’s broad HPL product portfolio. A unique selling point is that HPL is offered in different widths—both as sheets and as endless rolls. One highlight is the world’s first continuously produced HPL synchronous pore. What’s more, surfaces in “high gloss”, “supermatt” and “anti-fingerprint” variants can be produced in a range of thicknesses, up to 1.2 mm. Door manufacturers benefit from flexible products starting at 0.15 mm thickness.
SWISS KRONO at the interzum: Piazza Trends in Surfaces & Wood Design.
One of the top attractions in Hall 6 will be the Piazza Trends in Surfaces & Wood Design. Design and interior expert Katrin de Louw will be in charge of the special exhibition of selected products from wood-based panel manufacturers and decor printers. SWISS KRONO Group will be among them, exhibiting a laminate floor and contributing to one of the three Haptic line tables with five surfaces. These include surfaces from the CamuStyleTX collection, which won the German Design Award 2019. The black, five-meter long tables each feature five different materials and surfaces and promise an extraordinary haptic experience.
