Neuauftrag für Diesel-Kolbenmodule über mehr als 30 MioEUR

Der zum Rheinmetall Konzern gehörende Automobilzulieferer KSPG AG hat über seine Tochtergesellschaft KS Kolbenschmidt GmbH einen Neuauftrag für die Lieferung von Kolbenmodulen mit einem Lifetime-Volumen von rund 32,5 MioEUR erhalten. Auftraggeber ist ein großer amerikanischer Automobilhersteller. Er wird die Komponenten in seinen europäischen Werken in Dreizylinder-Dieselmotoren verbauen. Die Kolben werden ab 2019 am tschechischen KS Kolbenschmidt-Standort in Ústí nad Labem hergestellt.

Die bestellten Kolben werden mit assemblierten Ringen und Bolzen komplett geliefert. KS Kolbenschmidt unterstreicht damit einmal mehr seine Kompetenz bei Kolbenmodulen. Die Kolben mit Ringträger und Kühlkanal sind mit einer so genannten Nanofriks-Beschichtung versehen. Diese Beschichtung mit Nanopartikeln macht den Kolben besonders verschleiß- und reibungsarm und kommt damit effizient den wachsenden Anforderungen nach weniger Kraftstoffverbrauch und reduziertem Schadstoffausstoß entgegen.

Unter dem Markennamen Pierburg ist die Division Mechatronics von KSPG spezialisiert auf Module und Systeme zur Schadstoffreduzierung, Magnetventile, Aktuatoren und Ventiltriebsysteme sowie Öl-, Wasser- und Vakuumpumpen für den Pkw-, Truck- und Offroadbereich.

Die Division Aftermarket verantwortet unter der Marke Motorservice das weltweite Ersatzteilgeschäft für die Konzernmarken und weitere Produkte in mehr als 130 Ländern. Als ein führender Anbieter von Motorkomponenten bietet Motorservice seinen Kunden ein umfangreiches Sortiment an Motorenteilen aus einer Hand.
