Kyungwoo Systech, a global leader in industrial safety solutions, is proud to introduce the latest innovation in workplace safety – the KIGIS® Intelligent Proximity Alert System (IPAS) at LogiMAT 2025. The IPAS is designed to proactively prevent collision accidents across a diverse range of workplaces, including logistics hubs, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, construction sites, and various other industrial environments.

IPAS was introduced as one of the world's pioneering proximity alert systems, leveraging Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology. Our acclaimed active safety solutions have led to the deployment of IPAS in over 70,000 sets across more than 30 countries worldwide.

Introducing the KIGIS® IPAS

IPAS offers a comprehensive safety ecosystem with various UWB tag devices, each meticulously engineered for precise distance measurement:

Vehicle Tag (VT): Fitted on industrial vehicles such as forklifts and loaders, enhancing vehicle operation safety.

Pedestrian Tag (PT): Carried by workers, these tags facilitate real-time interaction with VTs  and provide vibrations and audible alerts to prevent accidents.

Controller (CON): Installed within the vehicle’s cabin. LCD, LED, and voice alerts when PTs or other VTs are approaching.

Zone Tag (ZT): Stational type of tag device, for workers who do not carry tags. Installed in blind areas such as corners or around entrances.

Advancing Safety with Innovative Angle Measurement

KIGIS® IPAS utilizes the Symmetric Double-Sided Two-Way Ranging (SDS-TWR) method for precise distance measurements between tags. A significant update introduces the ability to measure angles between tags, utilizing the Angle of Arrival (AoA) Detection method. This feature refines the configuration of caution and danger ranges, adding a new layer to safety management.

This technological leap provides users with extraordinary flexibility in shaping configurations. Now, caution and danger alerts can be finely tuned to align with the unique demands of the vehicle's operational environments and conditions. This customizable alert shaping, capable of integrated with various input signals, provides an optimized and conditional alert system tailored to meet each customer's unique need.

KIGIS® IPAS: Beyond Safety

The KIGIS® IPAS is more than a safety tool; it's a dynamic, adaptable system, ready to meet the diverse requirements of modern industrial environments. Our commitment to innovation is evident in our dedication to providing smart, effective safety solutions.
