Einsame Weihnacht überall: Viele Deutsche verbringen das "Fest der Liebe" allein

Als "Fest der Liebe" wird Weihnachten oft und gern bezeichnet. Allerdings werden viele Deutsche auch in diesem Jahr wieder allein vor dem Weihnachtsbaum sitzen. Wie eine aktuelle Umfrage des Dating-Portals lablue.de (www.lablue.de) unter 1.288 Personen ans Tageslicht brachte, werden 30,5 Prozent der Befragten das Weihnachtsfest mangels Partner allein verbringen müssen.

Für 14,8 Prozent tun es zur Not auch die Freunde, während die Mehrheit der Befragten Christi Geburt zusammen mit den Eltern feiert. Erstaunlich: Nur jeder Fünfte weiß überhaupt einen Partner an seiner Seite. "Zu Weihnachten scheint ganz offensichtlich nicht die Liebe zwischen Mann und Frau, sondern die familiäre oder rein platonische Liebe im Mittelpunkt zu stehen", schlussfolgert Rene Zoch, Sprecher von lablue.de, angesichts der Umfragewerte.

Übrigens: Auch die Vorfreude auf das Weihnachtsfest hält sich bei vielen Menschen in Grenzen. Nur jeder zweite Befragte kann sich für Weihnachten begeistern. Häufigster Grund für das Stimmungstief: Der fehlende Lebensgefährte.
