The Luxtron One does not drift and does not need recalibration EVER, so you will be assured of accurate measurements for the life of the instrument and probe. The Luxtron One has a measurement range of -10°C to 200°C and an accuracy of ±0.5°C. The instrument comes with a 2 meter Luxton One fiber optic probe that is immune to the effects of harsh environments such as EMI, RF, MRI, microwave and high voltage. Unlike metallic thermocouples, thermisters or RTDs, the Luxtron’s fiber optic probes can be used directly in high voltage, electrical and magnetic fields without damage to electrical equipment or the fiber optic instrument. The Luxtron One probe is also PFA/TeflonÒ coated so it can also be used in corrosive chemical environments and is 100% non-metallic and non-sparking for flammable and explosive chemical environments.
The Luxtron One has an LCD display with user selectable oC or oF and 0.1o or 1o resolutions. Other features include display hold and maximum and minimum reading hold. A mini-USB port is built in the Luxtron One to allow continuous data collection through a computer.
