280 nm UV LEDs

Wasser wird häufig mit UV Strahlung - bei Wellenlängen von 280 nm - entkeimt, um Trinkwasser zu generieren. LASER COMPONENTS bietet zwei 280 nm UV LEDs an, die auf InAlGaN-Leuchtdioden basieren und sich in ihrer optischen Leistung unterscheiden: Die LEUVA77G00HF00 mit einer Wellenlänge von 275 nm und 10 mW und die LEUFVA66B00HF00 bei 278 nm und 1,6 mW.

Die Wellenlängen im UVC Bereich werden durch eine Legierung von Galliumnitrid und Aluminiumnitrid erzeugt. UV-LEDs benötigen keine Aufwärmphase, verfügen über eine lange Lebensdauer, sind leicht und haben eine kompakte Bauform dadurch sind sie für den wirkungsvollen Einsatz in ortsund netzungebundenen Entkeimungssystemen z.B. von Flugzeugen prädestiniert. Zur Stromversorgung können aufgrund des Betriebs mit Gleichstrom sogar Solaranlagen eingesetzt werden.
