Die Produktfamilie der Temperature Sensor Modules TSM von Dexter Research Center wurde erweitert. Sie haben ab sofort die Wahl zwischen 3V und 5V Betriebsspannung und einem Öffnungswinkel von 70° oder 35°.

Die infraroten TSM, die allesamt über LASER COMPONENTS erhältlich sind, erfordern eine isotherme Umgebung. Langsames Driften der Umgebungstemperatur korrigiert der integrierte Thermistor. Aufgrund der kompakten Bauweise im TO-5 Gehäuse und der integrierten Signalverarbeitung fangen die Sensoren Temperaturschocks gut ab.

Neu ist u.a. der MD-0008. Die Kalibrierung dieses Sensors ermöglicht eine noch genauere Messung im Bereich der Körpertemperatur, was ihn für medizinische Verwendungen besonders interessant macht.

Alle IR-Kompaktpyrometer kommunizieren über den SM-Bus. Für den einfachen Einsatz des Sensors ist ein Testboard erhältlich.
