LASER COMPONENTS stellt die neue Thermopile-Produktfamilie ST60DIGITAL mit integriertem ASIC und I²C Ausgang seines Partners Dexter Research Center vor: Ein Zwillingsdetektor im TO-5 Gehäuse und ein Miniatur-Einkanaler im TO-18 Gehäuse.

Einkanal-Detektoren werden hauptsächlich in der berührungslosen Temperaturmessung eingesetzt. Mit entsprechenden Filterwechseln sind die Komponenten ebenfalls für die Analytik geeignet. Die Zweikanal-Thermopiles finden primär in der NDIR-Gasmesstechnik Einsatz.

Für Kunden, die mit I²C weniger vertraut sind, ist ein USB-Evaluationboard erhältlich, das bis zu vier Kanäle ausliest. Das Board erfordert lediglich einen Windows-PC.
