Fiber Inspection Probe FIP100: Handliches Stecker-Prüfsystem

Einfache automatisierte Checks für höhere Netzwerkleistung

Mit dem FIP100 (Fiber Inspection Probe) von TEMPO vertreibt LASER COMPONENTS ein vollautomatisches Prüfgerät zur schnellen und zuverlässigen Analyse von LWL-Steckverbindern und den dazugehörigen Bulkheads.

Mit diesem Gerät lässt sich die Sauberkeit der Stecker schon beim Netzausbau überprüfen, um Verluste zu minimieren und Schäden an Steckern zu vermeiden. Im laufenden Netzbetrieb lassen sich Fehler ohne längere Ausfallzeiten erkennen.

Mit einem einzigen Tastendruck fokussiert sich das FIP automatisch, erstellt ein Bild der Faserendfläche und liefert ein Pass/Fail-Ergebnis. Der Status des Steckers wird dabei sofort über eine rot/grüne LED an der Sonde angezeigt.  

Detaillierte Ergebnisse lassen sich über eine iOS- oder Android-App einsehen, über die auch PDF-Berichte und Bilder der Faserendflächen archiviert werden können. Beide Apps sind sofort verfügbar und beim Download bereits mit den Vorgaben der IEC 61300-3-35 vorkonfiguriert.

Dank seines kleinen Formfaktors kann man das Gerät auch bei schwer zugänglichen Anschlüssen problemlos einsetzen. Mit den mitgelieferten Adapterspitzen lässt sich das FIP100 an zahlreiche unterschiedliche Steckertypen mit polierten PC/UPC- oder APC-Endflächen anpassen.
