Vertriebsvertrag für optische Fasern unterzeichnet

LASER COMPONENTS stellt einen neuen Partner für optische Fasern vor. Patrick Paul begrüßte den General Manager James P. Clarkin zur Unterzeichnung des neuen Vertriebsvertrags am Firmenhauptsitz in Deutschland. Ab dem 01.12.2011 können Polymicros optische Fasern im gesamten deutschsprachigen Raum über LASER COMPONENTS bestellt werden.

"Wir freuen uns, dass wir einen der wichtigsten Hersteller für optische Fasern als neuen Partner gewinnen konnten", so Patrick Paul, Geschäftsführer von LASER COMPONENTS. Seit über 25 Jahren fertigt Polymicro Technologies Lichtwellenleiter und zählt zu den Marktführern. Einen Namen hat das zur Molex-Gruppe gehörende Unternehmen vor allem in den Märkten Messtechnik, Industrie sowie Medizintechnik gemacht.

"Das Portfolio an optischen Fasern können wir somit noch einmal ausdehnen. Ab sofort können wir Hohlkernfasern anbieten, die für den Einsatz mit CO2 bzw. Er:YAG Lasern entwickelt wurden. Hierdurch erweitern sich auch unsere Zielmärkte. Gerade in der Medizintechnik sind die so genannten IR-Fasern interessant, sollen sie langfristig doch die sehr kostspieligen Gelenkarme ersetzen" fasst P. Paul zusammen. Weitere neue Produkte werden in den kommenden Wochen und Monaten vorgestellt. Beispielsweise können sich die Kunden auf UV-Fasern freuen.
