Das kompakte MTS-5800 von JDSU war bislang schon eines der kleinsten und dabei leistungsfähigsten Netzwerktester für Messungen bis 10 GBit Ethernet auf dem Markt.

Und jetzt ist es noch mehr: Zusätzlich zu den bisherigen Funktionen kann es die OTDR-Module MTS-2000 und MTS-4000 Familie aufnehmen: so wird aus einem reinen Netzwerktester auch ein OTDR.

Die Anwender, egal ob sie aus der Netzwerk- oder Glasfaser-Technik kommen, sind damit mit nur einer Testplattform bestens ausgerüstet, um unterschiedlichste Gewerke installieren, abnehmen, betreiben und entstören zu können. Durch automatisierte Testabläufe können Netzwerke einfacher, schneller und präziser getestet werden als je zuvor.

Anwendungsbeispiele:

- Mobile-Backhaul Charakterisierung, Überprüfung und Fehlerbehebung
- Ethernet / IP-Netzwerk Test und Fehlersuche mit 10 Mbps bis 10 G-Schnittstellen
- RFC 2544, Y.1564 und RFC 6349 (TrueSpeed™) Testapplikationen
- Fiber-Link Charakterisierung und Fehlersuche
- Installation und Wartung von OTN und SONET/SDH und TDM/PDH-Netzen
- Remote Radio Head (RRH) Tests
