Analytik, Medizin, Luftfahrt, Militär, Industrie, Telekommunikation oder Industrie-Kommunikation - für jedes Gebiet gibt es eine ideale Großkernfaser mit Stufenindex-Profil von Polymicro.

Möglichst verlustfrei muss die optische Leistung in der Lasertechnik übertragen werden. Für UV-Wellenlängen werden High-OH Fasern eingesetzt, ansonsten Low-OH Fasern mit Quarz/Quarz-Profil (NA = 0,22, Ø = 200 μm bis 1000 μm). Wichtig ist die hohe Zerstörschwelle: 1 GW/cm².

LASER COMPONENTS bietet auch konfektionierte Fasern aus der eigenen Fertigung an: Ausgestattet mit High-Power-Steckern können diese sofort einsetzt werden. Um die höchste erzielbare Einkoppeleffizienz zu erreichen, werden die Endflächen beschichtet - eine AR-Schicht verbessert die Effizienz um 6 - 8%.

Biokompatibilität und Sterilisierbarkeit sind die Schlagworte in der Medizintechnik. Polymicros Fasern erfüllen beide Kriterien - Testreports können angefordert werden!
