Bis jetzt benötigte man zur professionellen Steckerinspektion neben einer Videomikroskop- Sonde immer ein zusätzliches Gerät zur Bilddarstellung. Entweder hatte man einen zusätzlichen Handmonitor, einen Laptop, oder ein sondenkompatibles Messgerät!

Um WiFi-taugliche Smartphones und Tablets als Empfänger zu nutzen, hat AFL Noyes für das LWL-Steckermikroskop FOCIS einen handlichen WiFi-Adapter entwickelt, mit welchem die Bilddaten der untersuchten Steckeroberflächen bequem übertragen, angezeigt und abgespeichert werden, ohne dass eine separate Einheit zur Bilddarstellung benötigt würde. Drei Software-Versionen werden dazu angeboten: FOCIS WiFi View zur schnellen Fehlersuche ermöglicht die reine Bilddarstellung. Die FOCIS WiFi PLUS Software dient bereits der Dokumentation des Ist-Zustandes: Bilddarstellung sowie Speicherung sind möglich, ebenso die sofortige Versendung der Bilddaten. Die FOCIS WiFi PRO Software kann für Abnahmeprüfungen verwendet werden, sie bietet die automatische PASS/FAIL-Analyse z.B. nach der IEC 61300-3-35.

Das FOCIS WiFi und dessen Software erhalten Sie über den Masterdistributor LASER COMPONENTS. Es ist kompatibel mit dem iPhone und iPad (iOS7) sowie mit Android- Geräten der Software 2.3.3 und höher
