Um Lichtwellenleiter in Druckkammern oder bei Vakuumanwendungen nutzen zu können, müssen Sie von außen in das Rauminnere geführt werden. Dazu werden Durchführungen verwendet, die dem hohen Druck standhalten und zusätzlich eine hohe Temperaturstabilität haben. LASER COMPONENTS bietet ein neues Produktsortiment für Multimode-, Singlemode- und PM-Fasern an, die für den Einsatz im Hochvakuum(HV), Ultrahochvakuum (UHV), sowie für Überdruck geeignet sind.

Zwei Typen sind erhältlich: Direkte und steckerbasierte Durchführungen. Direkte Faserdurchführungen ohne Steckmöglichkeit am Flansch ermöglichen hohe Packungsdichten bei einem guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Steckerbasierte Durchführungen sind besonders flexibel, da die Fasern außerhalb und innerhalb der Kammer einfach ausgetauscht werden können. Von Vorteil ist das vor allem bei der Verwendung von empfindlichen Fasern oder bei Wartungsarbeiten innerhalb der Kammer, bei denen die Steckverbindungen einfach getrennt werden.

LASER COMPONENTS' Durchführungen sind in verschiedenen Druckstufen von 10-5 bis 10-12 mbar l/s und für verschiedene ISO-Flansche (z.B. KF- und CF-Flansche) verfügbar.Für das Ausheizen können Temperaturen bis 180°C spezifiziert werden.

Neben den Standardflanschen sind auch kundenspezifische Aufbauten möglich, deren mechanisches und optisches Design den Kundenanforderungen entsprechen. Ein hermetischer Abschluss ist auch für Gase und Flüssigkeiten verfügbar.
