Die Lecos GmbH erbringt Dienstleistungen zur IT-gestützten Umgestaltung von Verwaltungsprozessen auf dem kommunalen Markt. Ziel ist die Steigerung der Dienstleistungsqualität für den Bürger bei wachsender Servicevielfalt. Verfahrenswege sollen abgekürzt werden, um so die personellen und finanziellen Kapazitäten der Kommunen zu entlasten. Im Rahmen von Innovationsprojekten auf Länderebene entwickelt die Lecos zukunftsorientierte eGovernment-Lösungen für die Kommune von morgen.

Die Lecos GmbH bietet öffentlichen Auftraggebern ein umfassendes Lösungsspektrum für die Modernisierung der kommunalen Verwaltung, das vom IT-Vollservice über den Betrieb eines Rechenzentrums bis zu NKF-Beratungsleistungen und der Entwicklung kommunaler Softwarelösungen reicht. Zu den Kunden gehören neben der Stadt Leipzig u. a. die Landratsämter Wittenberg und Torgau-Oschatz. Zudem bedient die Lecos den Zweckverband Kommunale Informationsverarbeitung Sachsen KISA.
