Der BVBS vertritt die Interessen der führenden Bausoftwareanbieter und setzt sich dafür ein, die Leistungsfähigkeit und Innovationskraft der Bauwirtschaft durch den Einsatz von Bausoftware zu erhöhen. Beim Planen, Bauen und Nutzen eines Gebäudes hilft die passende Software, strukturiert zu arbeiten, Fehler zu vermeiden sowie Termin- und Kostenvorgaben einzuhalten. Dazu sagt BVBS-Geschäftsführer Michael Fritz: "Die Bedeutung der Informationstechnik im Bausektor ist in den letzten Jahren stetig gewachsen. Effizientes Bauen ist heute ohne den Einsatz von Bausoftware nicht mehr vorstellbar. Deshalb macht es Sinn, diesem Thema einen eigenen Bereich auf einer Bau-Veranstaltung zu widmen. Das Mitteldeutsche Bauforum ist sowohl vom Standort als auch vom Zeitpunkt eine gute Ergänzung zu den bisherigen Messeaktivitäten der Bausoftware Branche."
Auch von Seiten der Leipziger Messe ist das Interesse an einer Zusammenarbeit mit dem Fachverband groß. "Wir möchten das Mitteldeutsche Bauforum zu einem Zentrum für den zukunftsweisenden Austausch zu Fragen des Planens und Bauens in Mitteldeutschland entwickeln. Da gehört das Instrument Bausoftware einfach dazu", sagt Markus Geisenberger, Geschäftsführer der Leipziger Messe. Derzeit erarbeiten die beiden Partner ein Konzept für die konkrete Umsetzung der Vereinbarung.
Der BVBS mit Sitz in Celle vertritt 67 Unternehmen mit einem Gesamtumsatzvolumen von mehr als 550 Millionen Euro und über 150.000 Anwendern im gesamten Bauwesen.
