Nach dem erfolgreichen ISPO Weltkongress 2010 in Leipzig, der zeitgleich zur Weltleitmesse ORTHOPÄDIE + REHA-TECHNIK stattfand, hat sich die ISPO entschlossen, längerfristig mit den Organisatoren der Leipziger Messe zusammenzuarbeiten. Im vergangenen Monat unterzeichnete Prof. Jan HB Geertzen, Präsident der ISPO International, den Vertrag und beauftragte damit die Leipziger Messe zusammen mit ihrer Tochterfirma Leipziger Messe International, die Organisation der Ausstellung zum Weltkongress zu übernehmen.
Martin Buhl-Wagner, Sprecher der Geschäftsführung der Leipziger Messe dazu: "Das Vertrauen der ISPO International in unsere Kompetenz freut uns sehr. Seit langem engagieren wir uns im Bereich der Medizinmessen und -kongresse. Die Entscheidung der ISPO zeigt einmal mehr, dass wir mit dem MedBusiness strategisch - auch international - hervorragend aufgestellt sind."
Die Konzeption und Umsetzung wird von Helene von Groote verantwortet, die das Projektteam zum ISPO Weltkongress 2013 leiten wird.
