In the field of digital finishing, Kurz will present comprehensive system solutions for a wide range of applications and demonstrate the capabilities of its machine program for sheet and roll production. The exhibited products include the latest generation of the DM-Jetliner transfer unit with its new functionality. What’s more, Steinemann DPE, the newest member of the Kurz family, will also be presented for the first time. In the hot stamping sector, Kurz explores the unrivaled possibilities of the process to achieve special effects and to upgrade printed products in an incomparable way. In the cold transfer segment, Kurz shows how the efficiency potential of the industrial process can be exploited with precisely coordinated processes and components. The company will also demonstrate how digital components can be optimally integrated into the finishing process and how fully integrated digital workflows can be created.
Kurz places particular emphasis on the issue of sustainability along the entire value chain and provides sound insights into its environmental commitment - be it to save materials, use the latest exhaust air purification systems or draw on renewable energies. “We are taking the issue very seriously,” explains Markus Hoffmann, member of the Kurz management board. “Rather than picking out individual aspects, we look at the entire process chain from concept through the application process to recycling. We leave no stone unturned and make significant investments so that we achieve the best possible overall process from an environmental point of view.”
In addition to exhibiting at booth D68 in Hall 3 at drupa 2020, Kurz will also be serving as a member of the touchpoint packaging steering committee. Having shaped the developments from the beginning, the Kurz team is looking forward to presenting the latest trends and providing fresh ideas for creative packaging design.
