Prozesse in einem Unternehmen müssen dokumentiert und kommuniziert werden. Das Typo3- Systemhaus und die Internet-Agentur Lightwerk aus Stuttgart entwickelte hierfür eine Lösung auf der Basis von Typo3 und OpenOffice. Die verwendete Web-Technologie gewährleistet eine einheitliche web-basierte Darstellung und durchsuchbare Beschreibung der Prozessinformationen. Ein grafisches Ablaufdiagramm eines Geschäftsprozesses wird über das Content-Management-System mit zusätzlichen Informationen angereichert und enthält z. B.: Verantwortlichkeiten zu einzelnen Prozessschritten, Ansprechpartner, notwendige und verfügbare Ressourcen, Management-Kennzahlen zu den Prozessen oder zu bestehenden Dateien (z. B. Handbücher).
Das BPM-Framework kann direkt in jedes Typo3-Intranet integriert oder mit anderen Systemen über offene Schnittstellen verknüpft werden.
Neben der BPM-Lösung präsentiert Lightwerk auf dem Stand auch die Vorteile und Möglichkeiten des Content-Management-Systems Typo3. Gerade die neue Version des CMS Typo3 überzeugt durch eine benutzerfreundliche Bedienbarkeit für weltweite Datenpflege und den Schnittstellen zur Integration in heterogene IT-Landschaften.
