The new MOS/MOP 201 Oil Lubrication System is driven by the chain that is to be lubricated. As a result, additional electrics are not required.
Only the chains that are currently operating are actually lubricated. This not only drastically reduces lubricant consumption, but also simultaneously avoids unnecessary wastage, soiling of the environment and over-lubrication. Automated chain lubrication systems improve work safety as it is not longer necessary to reach into areas with moving chains.
Lubrication is applied with a brush or with Lincoln patented guide blocks made from wear-resistant polymer plastics. Guide blocks are especially effective in palletizing areas as the guide blocks not only apply lubricant, but they also rub off large dirt particles and can assist to guide the chain at the same time.
Quicklub Progressive Lubrication Systems for individual machine groups that are widely dispersed and as a result are more effective to lubricate individually. Quicklub systems operated with SSV metering devices that are a solid-block (segment free and easy to clean), with a high-precision metal-to-metal fit piston that eliminates the need for defect-prone seals. SSV metering devices are also available in stainless steel and are therefore ideal for the usage in hygiene relevant zones in the beverage industry.
Sectional Lubrication System - Especially for Filling Lines
The Lincoln Sectional Lubrication System lubricates only the areas of a bottling or filling line that are currently operating. Momentarily, non-operational areas are not unavoidably and unnecessarily lubricated. The different zones or sections of the filling line are individually lubricated with adjustable quantities of lubricant.
This system concept saves expensive lubricant - an important economical aspect and also especially relevant from an environmental viewpoint.
The Sectional System has all the advantages of a two-line system, which means it can operate at high pressures. The system is based on the single-line concept which uses only one mainline, thus saving on cost for expensive material and installation labour. The system is designed for long distances and widely dispersed lubrication points. As a result, the Lincoln system can supply up to 4,500 lubrication points with only one pump station.

MOP 201 - Mechanically Driven Oil Lubrication Pump For the Oil Lubrication of Slow Moving Chains
The mechanically driven MOP 201 pump is an advancement of the MOS 101 that was developed for agricultural equipment. It is especially suitable for stationary industrial applications with more than 5 chains - e.g. palletizers.
System features:
Only the chain is lubricated whose drive is currently engaged.
Over-lubrication and unnecessary dripping of oil is avoided.
The MOS 201 lubrication system makes it possible to lubricate several, independently run chains. It is especially suitable for applications that require lubrication of more than 5 chains. Each chain and lubrication point uses one lubrication pump. The centralized oil supply to parallel pumps is provided by a ring feed connection.
The MOP 201 pump supplies all points with the same, exact metered amount of oil. As a result, chain wear caused by dust and dirt build-up is minimized. The oil is applied by brushes or felt-pads, whereby the felt-pads are an effective way of evenly applying oil over the entire chain. Simultaneously, dirt and particles are scrubbed off the chain - making the lubrication process even more effective.
The MOP 201 is driven by an eccentric cam and probe which enables the rotating eccentric disk to be assigned to the appropriate running chain and its lubrication points.
The rotating motion of the eccentric disk is converted by a tappet into a linear motion. A Bowden cable transfers the stroke of the tappet to the piston in the MOP 201 pump. It's the Bowden cable connection that enables only the lubrication of the chain that is currently in operation. Dependent on the number of chains, the system may be extended at any time.
Chain Lubrication via Guide Blocks
The Lincoln Chain Lubrication via Guide Blocks has successfully been used for the lubrication of roller chains on palletizing equipment. A direct mechanical pump drive which is driven by the shaft of the transport chain is possible, thus eliminating the need for cumbersome controllers for the lubrication system.
The guide blocks of the lubrication system simultaneously remove coarse particles, guide and continuously lubricate the chain. The contact lubrication blocks are especially robust and non-sensitive, and the wear-resistant polymer provides a long life.
When compared to manual lubrication the usage of a guide block chain lubrication system multiply increases the life span of transport chains.
