The aTCA-6100 implements two Intel® Xeon® L5518 processors supporting six sockets for DDR3-1066 VLP RDIMM memory up to a maximum of 48GB. The Intel Xeon 5500 series implements integrated memory controllers and Intel® QuickPath Interconnect (Intel® QPI) point-to-point link interfaces. The ADLINK aTCA-6100 is the first ATCA blade with two quad-core Intel Xeon 5500 series processors and a Mid-size AMC bay, distinguishing it from other processing blades on market.
