Hanse Service Internationale Fachspedition was founded in 1983 and has since established itself as a reliable partner for the pharmaceutical and food industries. Together with Pharmalogisticspartner, the two companies employ 42 people at two locations in Hamburg and have 7,600 m² of temperature-controlled storage space. With appropriate certifications (GDP, Pharma Wholesaler and IFS) and customised logistics solutions, Hanse Service meets the high demands of its customers. The service portfolio includes air and sea freight, warehousing as well as the use and distribution of specialised packaging solutions.
With the acquisition of the Hanse Service Group, Logwin is setting a milestone in the strategic development of logistics solutions for the pharmaceutical and food industries. The know-how and expertise of the Hanse Service Group are expected to enable Logwin to significantly expand its services, particularly in the area of temperature-controlled logistics, both nationally and internationally.
The previous owners of the Hanse Service Group, Jörg Brinkmann and Thorsten Eckel, will remain with the company as managing directors, thus ensuring continuity in operational management and the seamless continuation of business and sales activities. Brinkmann and Eckel emphasise the synergy potential seen by Logwin: ‘As part of a global logistics company with a worldwide network, we see great potential to transfer our experience to other countries and to be able to offer existing and potential customers even more attractive logistics solutions.’
With this acquisition, Logwin is sending a strong signal for growth and innovation in a challenging market environment.
