Grevenmacher (Luxembourg) - Geographically separated, but united in sports and for a good cause: On May 8 at 1 p.m. CEST, the starting gun was fired again around the world for this year's "Wings for Life World Run". Logwin had already participated in this charity running event for the first time in 2019 as part of a flagship run in Munich with a group of employees. In 2021, the Logwin Racers then competed around the globe as one of the largest teams in the international race against the "Catcher Car".
For 2022, Logwin had set itself a special goal: Under the official motto "Run for those who can't", the logistics company wanted to compete in the App Run with an even larger number of participants than the year before and was successful: With 1,400 registered participants from 40 different nations, the commitment of Logwin employees, their families, friends and customers was enormous.
It was especially nice that this year some locations around the globe were also able to make team events out of the run again and many runners met at Logwin locations to participate and run together on site for the good cause.
Internationally committed as a team: As a worldwide charity event, the "Wings for Life World Run" not only provides Logwin with an event for its own employees, but also supports the "Wings for Life Foundation" and its research into the treatment of paraplegia. For the logistics company, social commitment is generally a matter close to its heart: In addition to this international charity run, Logwin also supports other globally active organizations such as "Save the Children" with regular larger financial donations and is also particularly committed to the personal social projects of its employees, which are promoted as part of the internal charity program. And this year the Logwin Racers once again demonstrated their great team spirit across all continents.
