Enhancing Logistics with Helios2 3D Time-of-Flight Cameras
The Helios2 3D Time-of-Flight camera series is built for 24/7 operation in demanding industrial environments, excelling in applications such as robotics, 3D inspection, and logistics. These cameras offer versatile capabilities for advanced material handling, pick-and-place operations, sorting, palletization/de-palletization, and volume estimation. Equipped with Sony’s IMX556PLR Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor and LUCID’s rugged IP67 Factory Tough design, the Helios2 cameras deliver high-accuracy 3D depth imaging with sub-millimeter precision, even in challenging warehouse conditions.
The Helios2 lineup includes the Helios2 Wide with a broad 108° x 78° field of view, and a Helios2 Narrow with a focused 31° x 24° field of view. The Helios2+ offers two additional modes – a high dynamic range and a high-speed mode. The Helios2 Ray is optimized for outdoor use, featuring 940nm VCSEL laser diodes for reliable real-time 3D point clouds in full sunlight.
Triton Smart Camera with AI Processing
LUCID will also showcase its new Triton Smart camera, featuring Sony’s IMX501 intelligent vision sensor with built-in AI processing. This cost-effective camera combines high-quality 12.3 MP imaging with on-sensor AI inference, reducing data bandwidth, minimizing latency, and alleviating host PC workloads. The Triton Smart camera is ideal for object detection, automation, and other advanced vision tasks, enhancing system efficiency across industries.
