"We have managed to increase the turnover in 2011 by approximately 24 %, compared to 2010. Now in 2012, we are working hard for further growth and we are optimistic despite alternating forecasts for the international business development. The export plays an important role for LUM. The formula for success of our own US subsidiary and of our Japanese partner Nihon Rufuto, Co., Ltd. must be transferred to other countries. For further use of the positive aspects of globalization, for competent and fast support of local business units of multi-national companies and world-wide research networks, we regularly qualify our distributors", explains Prof. Lerche, Managing Director of LUM GmbH.
All attendees will undergo an intensive practical training on the direct and accelerated stability analysis of and particle characterization of emulsions and suspensions. Different application areas will be covered, including cosmetic products, e.g. nail varnish and make up, beverages and dairy products, up to nanoparticles.
"The innovation strength of LUM will become apparent in 2012, too. First, there will be the next generation of SEPView® 6 software for our topsellers LUMiSizer® and LUMiFuge®. This software can be used with the Separation Analyzer LUMiReader PSA® as well", discloses Prof. Lerche knowing well, that at the World Filtration Congress 2012 in Graz in April and on ACHEMA in Frankfurt in June, two new products will be introduced.
