For wiring largescale plants, Lumberg offers two new alternative wiring concepts utilizing preassembled photovoltaic array harnesses: The Type T harnesses are characterized by overmolded connector branches. With Type X harnesses, the branching cables are already preassembled and overmolded.
In both cases, the customer can specify cable lengths, the number and distance of branches as well as the wire section (4 or 6 square millimeters). Both can be equipped with male or female connectors based on the customer’s preference.
As a special customer benefit, these preassembled, overmolded photovoltaic array harnesses are supplied already tested and readytoplug. This allows for easy “plug and secure” installation.
New securing bushing Also available as an option now, Lumberg is offering a new nonmetallic securing bushing for all of its photovoltaic connectors. It is premounted in a captive way and provides for easy handling with excellent, sensible locking.
The complete product range includes ready to install module connecting boxes, preassembled cables with overmolded connectors, fieldattachable connectors, receptacles and Y connectors.
