Another highlight of the joint trade show appearance is the C2E high-density system. It is used to increase the packing density in core networks and data centers and offers space for up to 144 fibers on 1 U using LC connectors. The system is characterized by its modular design and has individually extendable plug-in units with integrated patch cable routing. In addition, a network distributor in the form of a wall box will be on display. The box is equipped with typical components such as a twin compact splice module from Sachsenkabel. Visitors to the booth will also be able to find out about higher-fiber cables and assembled cables with ferrule connectors. Among other things, versions with IP protective housings will be on display.
Visitors can also discover the patented product and process solution F2X®, which is especially suitable for retrofitting of fiber optic building connections of one family houses. Thanks to the one-sided assembled cable it is unnecessary to splice at the Building Entry Point (BEP). A loop connector also makes it possible for the mandatory OTDR measurement for outward and return links to be performed bidirectionally only at the point of presence (POP), instead of additionally from the APL as is usually the case. In total F2X® enable significant savings of time and resources. At the booth visitors find a selection of BEP and a Optical Network Termination (ONT) which are equipped by F2X®.
On Thursday, May 25, Lars Schumann (Head of Sales, LWL-Sachsenkabel GmbH) will be part of the panel “Effizienter Netzausbau und Betrieb von FTTH und HFC-Netzen” (10-11:15 a.m.). The panel will be held in German.
By the way: Amphenol and its subsidiaries invite the visitors of the fair to a champagne reception on Wednesday, May 24. It will provide ample opportunity for informal and personal exchange.
