The continuous boom of this industry sector benefits the booking numbers for stand space at EuroBLECH 2008. 1,030 exhibitors from 30 countries have already reserved their stands, and as much as 85,000 m2 of net exhibition space has been booked by now. Many exhibiting companies will present themselves on bigger stands this time. “After the fantastic success of the previous exhibition, we are now experiencing a real booking boom”, says Nicola Hamann, Exhibition Director, on behalf of the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions Ltd.
EuroBLECH 2006 was the biggest exhibition ever in the long history of the event: a record show with 1,409 exhibitors from 40 countries and 64,300 visitors from 73 countries. It was also the most international EuroBLECH of all time: 32,200 visitors (36%) from outside Germany had travelled to Hanover to visit the show.
As at the previous show, EuroBLECH 2008 will occupy halls 11,12,13,14,15,16 and 27 at the world’s largest exhibition facility. Clearly structured and subdivided into 15 technology sectors, the exhibition shows the entire sheet metal working technology chain. The main features are sheet metal, semi-finished and finished products, handling, separation, forming/flexible sheet metal working, joining/welding and surface technologies. Tools, process and quality control systems, CAD/CAM applications plus research and development complete the product range on display.
“Exhibitors who would like to book stand space within their relevant technology sector, should book quickly, as the layout of the hall space is already under way,” recommends Nicola Hamann.
The world’s leading international exhibition for sheet metal working is considered the barometer of this industry branch. The event reflects the economic situation of this sector, shows the latest trends in manufacturing processes and is regarded as the international platform for the opening up of new markets.
“Our ultimate objective is to further develop the global orientation of EuroBLECH,” says Nicola Hamann. “At the previous show, participants from India and Poland already represented the forth largest visitor group. Particularly for these visitors from emerging markets, live demonstrations of a large variety of machinery and systems are the crucial factor for their visit.”
For international visitors to the show, the EuroBLECH website www.euroblech.com offers detailed information in 12 languages. In the run-up to the show, the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions Ltd, plan to hold press conferences again in selected growth markets.
