EuroBLECH 2014, the 23rd International Sheet Metal Working Exhibition, is presenting a new online competition to recognise high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence in sheet metal working. The competition, called “Champions in Sheet Metal Working”, will have five winners in total, one winner for each of the following five categories: production in a record time, solution for a complex problem, outstanding customer service, production of an unusual product made of sheet metal and excellent teamwork.
Winners will be formally presented with an award in a ceremony at EuroBLECH 2014, held from 21 – 25 October 2014 in Hanover, Germany. In addition to the award, each of the five winners will also receive a EuroBLECH Mini Football Table.
Detailed information about the competition is now live on the show website www.euroblech.com and companies of all sizes in any country are invited to participate. Sheet metal working specialists who think that their organisation has performed exceptionally well in one or more of the categories can now take the opportunity to enter the competition. The entries of the participating companies will go live on the EuroBLECH website later this summer, followed by an open online vote to elect the winners. All industry professionals are invited to vote for their favourite candidate.
EuroBLECH 2014 will, once again, present the entire sheet metal working technology chain: sheet metal, semi-finished and finished products, handling, separation, forming, flexible sheet metal working, joining, welding, tube / section processing, surface treatment, processing of hybrid structures, tools, quality control, CAD/CAM systems, factory equipment and R&D.
EuroBLECH is renowned as a worldwide industry barometer and marketplace for the latest sheet metal working technology. Live demonstrations of machinery are a main attraction of the exhibition. A total of 1,550 exhibitors from 40 countries will present an impressive range of machines, tools and systems across eight exhibition halls. The show targets all sheet metal working specialists at every management level in small and medium-sized companies as well as large enterprises. Visitors include engineers, production managers, quality managers, buyers, manufacturers, technical directors and experts in associations and R&D.
EuroBLECH 2014 is open from Tuesday, 21st October to Friday, 24th October 2014, from 09.00 – 18.00 and on Saturday, 25th October 2014, from 09.00 – 15.00.
