“Over the past years, ICE Europe has developed into the leading international industry event for converting specialists. They value this specialised trade exhibition as the ideal platform to establish global networks and to build new business relations,” says Nicola Hamann, Exhibition Director ICE Europe, on behalf of the organisers, Mack Brooks Exhibitions.
ICE Europe attracts predominantly managing directors, plant managers, design and production engineers, technical managers, purchasers and sales and marketing directors from all key industry sectors. Important visitor industry sectors include packaging, food, pharmaceutical, textiles and nonwovens, paper, package printing as well as product development for the automotive, furniture and electronics industries.
Energy efficient production processes and new materials
Key subjects at this year’s exhibition will be new materials conversion, energy efficient production as well as enhanced process control. The exhibiting companies will present innovative equipment and practical solutions for optimised manufacturing processes and production of top quality goods. Many of the exhibits showcased at ICE Europe 2011 will focus on material reduction, process control, waste reduction, improved production processes with reduced energy consumption and new materials from renewable resources.
Some of these topics will also be the subject of a conference on “Sustainability in packaging – processes and materials”. The conference is organised by Fraunhofer Institut and will be held alongside the exhibition.
