PSE Europe 2017 introduces visitors from varied industry sectors to new developments and innovations in the PU industry. More than 70 companies will exhibit their products and services, including companies such as ARKEMA, C.O.I.M. S.P.A., FACHVERBAND SCHAUMKUNSTSTOFFE UND POLYURETHANE E. V., FRIMO GROUP GMBH, KRAUSSMAFFEI TECHNOLOGIES GMBH, MILLIKEN EUROPE, IMPIANTI OMS SPA and STEPAN. The exhibitors will highlight how the polymer empowers innovation in industries, such as automotive, construction/insulation, furniture/bedding, electronics, packaging, footwear and medical devices. Visitors can look forward to vivid live demonstrations and product innovations. Furthermore, a high-quality conference programme offers visitors insights into the latest trends, innovations and developments within the Polyurethane industry.
However, there is more to discover at the exhibition. The Feature Area, a dedicated space on-site, bridges the gap between theory and practice and showcases how innovative Polyurethane applications enable specific product developments.
As the sponsor of the Feature Area, CARDOLITE exhibits foam samples, which are produced with polyols based on Cashew Nutshell Liquid (CNSL), a non-edible and biorenewable material extracted from the honeycomb-like structure of the cashew nut. Such polyols can enhance the performance of Polyurethane foams with excellent thermal and fire resistance, water and moisture resistance and high compression strength. KRAUSSMAFFEI TECHNOLOGIES GMBH introduces visitors to a glove box cover of a VW Passat. The cover’s coating is made of a thermoplastic component with Polyurethane for surface finishing in a two-step process.
Furthermore, visitors will find the Street Shark 4.0 courtesy of FRIMO GROUP GMBH. The Street Shark is a spoiler on a Corvette C7 GT3-R from the cooperation partner Callaway, who specialises in car body manufacturing, vehicle repairs, and modifications for racing. The spoiler on this Corvette features an innovative three-dimensional PU sandwich construction fitted with a bionic surface structure modelled after shark skin in certain areas. H&S ANLAGENTECHNIK GMBH, MILLIKEN EUROPE, POLYLABS BIO POLYOLS, PUREN GMBH and REVERDIA V.O.F. will also contribute to the Feature Area.
