With a net exhibition space of 87,000 m2 EuroBLECH 2008 is fully booked; for the first time ever, the show covers eight halls of the Hanover exhibition grounds. The leading trade show for sheet metal working has grown by 14% in net exhibition space, the exhibitor number has gone up by 6%, and the percentage of exhibitors coming from outside Germany has again risen slightly – it is now at 44%. After Germany, the main exhibitor country has always been Italy; this year, participation of Italian companies has further augmented. Also the number of exhibitors from the Netherlands, Spain, Austria and Turkey has seen an above average increase. The former new member states of the EU have now become an inherent part of the exhibition. As for exhibitors from outside Europe, EuroBLECH can record a higher number of companies from the USA, China and Taiwan.
International showcase
Visitors will therefore, have the choice of a highly international range of products and services covering the entire sheet metal working technology chain. High-tech as well as conventional machinery and tools will be on display. In particular, the technology sectors of separation, flexible sheet metal working, joining/fastening and tool technology have extended and the division of the exhibition halls has therefore been slightly changed. Travel & Accommodation
Hanover, with its excellent infrastructure, can easily be reached by air, train, car and public transport. Visitors can now gain access to the EuroBLECH show ground at five entrances: at the new ‘Nord 17’ entrance as well as at the ‘West 1’, ‘West 2’, ‘Ost 3’ and ‘Süd 1’ entrances.
Drivers can find extensive parking areas directly at the exhibition grounds. The train station ‘Hannover Laatzen’ is directly linked with entrance ‘West 1’ via ‘Skywalk West’. In addition to regional trains, high speed ICE-trains stop at this station during exhibitions. The German railway company “Deutsche Bahn” offers special prices for visitors to EuroBLECH. From the Hanover airport, there is a regular shuttle bus. From the city, the tram line stop ‘Messe/Nord’ (tram lines 8 and 18) is linked with regular shuttle buses to the entrances.

EuroBLECH 2008 is open from Tuesday, 21 October to Friday, 24 October 2008, from 09:00 - 18:00 and on Saturday, 25 October 2008, from 09:00 - 16:00.
