Those taking part are predominantly western European companies, primarily from Germany and Italy, who would like to establish themselves in the Russian market or expand their existing contacts in this region. According to a recent survey, Russia represents one of the most important future markets for the sheet metal working industry.
The trade exhibition, organised by Restec Brooks, a joint venture between Mack Brooks Exhibitions and their Russian partner Restec Exhibition Company, encompasses all core sectors of the sheet metal working industry. Products and services will be displayed from exhibition categories such as Sheet metal, finished and semi-finished products, Forming, Separation and Joining Technology, Machine elements, Handling, Surface treatment and Tools/dies.
With this highly specialised exhibition profile, BLECH Russia sets itself apart from other exhibitions in Russia which have, until now been primarily general machine and metal shows. The show is aimed at production specialists, buyers, designers and quality controllers of the sheet metal working industry. Key industry divisions include mechanical engineering, sheet metal products and components, the automotive industry and its suppliers, iron and steel production, steel and aluminium construction, rolling mills as well as ship building.
The show will take place in the largest and most modern hall of the Lenexpo Exhibition Centre in St Petersburg, a city around which numerous steel centres and car manufacturers have settled. The region around St Petersburg is also well-known as a centre for R&D, metal working and robotics.
BLECH Russia will be open daily from 10am – 6pm, and from 10am – 3pm on Friday. Entrance is free for pre-registered visitors; registration at www.blechrussia.com.
