MANN+HUMMEL's presence in the United States began in 1994 with the establishment of MANN+HUMMEL Filter Technology Inc. in Glenview, Illinois. In order to support a growing customer base and meet market demand, they added locations in Michigan, North Carolina, and Tennessee over the past 10 years. As of November 1st, 2013, MANN+HUMMEL added the newly opened MANN+HUMMEL North Carolina Innovation Center on Centennial Campus, in partnership with North Carolina State University to their family of facilities in North America.
The company will continue their expansion later this year by establishing their North American headquarters for their Automotive Aftermarket and Industrial Filtration, and Purolator Sales and Marketing divisions in Raleigh, North Carolina. The move represents a long-term investment and commitment to the people and communities in America, as well as supporting their customers and growing market demand.
With their acquisition of Purolator and establishment of MANN+HUMMEL Purolator Filters on April 1st, 2013, MANN+HUMMEL strengthened their position and market coverage in the United States. Purolator serves markets in the America's and Asia regions with more than 2,000 filtration part numbers since 1923. Combined with MANN FILTER, it will provide customers around the globe with a more robust product offering and service. MANN+HUMMEL will continue their expansion in North Carolina, with plans to invest over 15 million dollars in their Fayetteville and Raleigh sites over the next two years.
With two brands under one roof, MANN FILTER and Purolator Filters NA LLC will be showcasing their innovations together for the first time at the upcoming AAPEX trade show in Las Vegas, USA from November 5th to 7th, 2013.
