MTPro load-securing net is suitable for inhomogeneous mixed goods - Reusable net adapts flexibly to a wide variety of shapes and packaging - Marotech is now the owner of patents, licences and trademark rights of the BlackCat anti-slip mats - 3G competence centre with comprehensive testing, consulting and training services - Joint trade fair appearance with HLash & Rainer
At the LogiMAT logistics trade fair (11 to 13 March) in Stuttgart, Marotech will be presenting a reusable load-securing net from the MTPro product line for forming load units with inhomogeneous mixed goods for the first time. It is suitable for many applications that could previously only be secured with stretch film. A second innovation concerns the safety anti-slip mats of the BlackCat brand, for which Marotech has now taken over general distribution. Another topic at the stand will be the comprehensive testing, consulting and training services offered by the 3G Competence Centre. Together with HLash & Rainer GmbH, Marotech will be exhibiting in Hall 9 at Stand 9C74.
Marotech has developed an innovative and sustainable load securing net from the MTPro product line. It can be used to create secure load units with a wide variety of goods that can otherwise only be secured with stretch film. The ecological solution was developed for a large cruise shipping company, which is using it to significantly reduce its plastic packaging waste. The new load-securing net is also suitable for all transports of inhomogeneous mixed goods - for example in internal company transport or in the CEP sector.
With the new load securing net, different packaging sizes and weights of mixed goods that are transported on plastic pallets and trolleys can be secured very well. Securing the load requires only a minimum of time. The net enables the flexible formation of load units on different load carriers and fulfils the highest ecological requirements. Compared to conventional stretch film, the new load-securing nets score highly in terms of reusability, resource conservation and cost efficiency. At the cruise shipping company, the net is used for high-frequency internal transport between the cargo hold and catering area, with two different load carrier types with increased instability in use.
The MTPro load securing nets fulfil the requirements of DIN 55415:2022-09, which describes test methods for transport stability in intermodal transport. Depending on requirements, the stability of the load units can be verified by a dynamic laboratory test, a dynamic driving test or a static inclination test. The “3G European Competence Centre for Load Securing” will be happy to carry out these tests for you. The nets ensure that the load unit is sufficiently stable without additional work for the employees.
The advantages are:
- Sustainability: Reusable load securing nets significantly reduce the consumption of disposable materials such as stretch film.
- Flexibility: The nets can easily be used for a wide range of packaging sizes and weights.
- Efficiency: Securing mixed goods does not require any additional time and can be carried out by a single person.
- Stability: The nets guarantee transport stability in accordance with the requirements of DIN 55415 and ensure a safe internal flow of goods.
Anyone who would like to continue their education beyond the classic training courses can, for example, complete the ‘Training as a trainer and consultant for load securing in land and sea transport’ in Fulda, which has been very popular since 2012.
Low-cost load unit tests are carried out in the 3G test centre using the 3G brake simulator.
In addition, the friction coefficients of load units weighing up to 10 tonnes can be determined on the 3G friction coefficient test system. Dynamic driving tests with appropriate measurement technology complete the range of services. The 3G consultants also draw up customised load securing concepts and loading recommendations. The corresponding load unit tests, test reports and test certificates provide customers with legal certainty.
Another new product at the Marotech stand is the BlackCat brand of safety anti-slip mats manufactured in Germany. Last year, Marotech took over all patents, licences and trademark rights as well as general distribution and has since continued the business of the Wado company. In Stuttgart, Marotech will be showcasing the complete range of BlackCat products, including the BlackCat Original as an insert for crates, boxes and drawers, the BlackCat Panther, which can be used universally as a floor covering, and the BlackCat-Tiger special solution for heavy goods transport and the plasticiser-free BlackCat-Silvergrip.
