Die MAS Elektronik AG, der deutsche Hersteller von Home Entertainment-Produkten der Marke Xoro, stellt mit dem HRS 8540 einen Receiver für digitales Satellitenfernsehen in HD vor.

Der HD Satelliten-Receiver Xoro HRS 8540 zeichnet sich durch sein noch kompakteres Gehäuse und den geringen Stromverbrauch aus. Moderne Chipsatz-Technologie sorgt für ein hervorragendes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Der HD Media Player gibt Video-, Audio- und Bilddateien von USB Speichermedien mit NTFS und FAT32 Dateisystem wieder. Unterstützt wird neben den klassischen Videocontainern wie z.B. MPG und AVI auch das MKV-Format. MPEG4 (ASP/AVC H.264) verarbeitet der Receiver bis zu einer Auflösung von 1080p.
