Matrox Graphics Inc. erweitert mit der neuen Millennium P690-Serie die bestehende P-Serie um fünf lüfterlose Varianten - alle mit geringem Energieverbrauch (unter 12 Watt) und in diversen Ausführungen (PCI, PCIe) und Formfaktoren (LP, ATX) erhältlich. Die 256 MB-"Plus"-Varianten können zudem mit einem optionalen Kabel auf bis zu vier mal HD15-Analog-Ausgang erweitert werden. Der "Joined"-Grafikkarten-Modus des Matrox PowerDesk-Treibers ermöglicht so den Anschluss von bis zu vier digitalen oder acht analogen Displays über zwei "P690 Plus"-Grafikkarten mit durchgehender Taskbar bzw. gestrecktem Desktop.
